Holly Hollow , part of our Professional Designer Series, is just stunning with 2 bedrooms/2 bath, fenced area, hot tub, firepit, Covered porch, lounging deck and it is secluded. All roads are paved to this Cherry Log cabin. Perfect for 2 couples. This Sliding Rock Cabin is an ADULT ONLY cabin (no guests under age 25).and please no cats owner is highly allergic. We encourage you to protect your vacation investment with a travel insurance of your choice. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

We needed a weekend getaway to refresh and reset. This cabin was the perfect place to do just that. We brought our furbaby with us and all 3 of us were very comfortable. If we decide to come back to this area, we will book here, again, if available.

Nice & cozy

It was a very nice & clean cabin. This will sound weird, but i study the interior pictures before booking. We have a dog that is scared to walk on slick floors. The pictures showed lots of area rugs. We open the door & see NO rugs. Not a single one. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay

Booked because of "paved roads" to the cabin.

After booking, there was a snow storm warning so I decided to lose two days to be safe. The staff was friendly and changed my booking out an extra day which I did not ask them to do, but I felt was kind and the right thing to do. I was traveling alone with my dog. While I know friends in Blue Ridge, I wasn't sure if they would stop in to pick me up for dinner, so had to list them, their name, ages, vehicles they drive, etc. Booking alone was so much stress I should have known that this would not end well. Their rental agreement which I signed in many forms several times, stated that they are not responsible for bad directions, blaming GPS, but their directions were no better, they were not responsible for bad weather, or no cell service. This would seem reasonable if you had been traveling several times a year in the mountains, for several years, and never were restricted from getting to your cabin by a thick sheet of ice on a steep mountain road, while driving a four wheel drive truck and sliding backwards down the road. There was no cell phone connection, so I was completely alone with my dog and had no idea how long I'd be stuck there. After over an hour a nice man got me out and I luckily, found a dog friendly hotel in downtown Blue Ridge because I was never able to get to the cabin due to ice covered roads for the remainder of my stay.

Absolutely perfect!

We went for a long weekend with friends and everything was perfect from the amenities to the location. We visited Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and drove one day to Dahlonega. We were a little early for the leaves changing; however, the scenery is breath taking all year long. Will definitely return!

Great ozy place

The cabin was in great shape and the stay was enjoyable. It was perfectly located to do the things we wanted as well as do nothing but relax. Only complaint would be the internet as it was not strong enough to stream or do things as simple as facebook. Therewas cable TV

Can you rent perfection?

We stayed at Holly Hollow for a little over three weeks and loved it the entire time. The house is beautifully built, furnished and decorated, and we had everything we needed to call it home. I was amazed at the craftsmanship of this Sisson home… so many extras, so much storage area, so comfortable for all of us, which includes our 6 yr old mini poodle.How nice to discover such a beautiful cabin that is dog friendly! Sliding Rock Cabins could not have been easier to work with ! They were responsive to every request and attentive to each phone call, text, or email . I hope we can return someday.We live in southwest Florida, so coming to the mountains was a refreshing respite from the heat and humidity we endure during the summer. It was all close to perfection!

We had a good time at Holly Hollow cabin. Peaceful and beautiful location. Cabin was clean inside, however, the living room rugs had strong smell of dog urine. The outside space was not what we expected concerning cleanliness, which prevented us from enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

New Year’s Getaway

We come to north Ga with family every year for New Year’s. We love to hike and enjoy the wineries in the area. We enjoy the Cherry Log location for its beauty and convenience. This cabin was very cute and cozy however we feel there are some things that should be addressed. The kitchen had all the necessities although some of the plastic cooking (spatulas,etc) need to be replaced. The area where the hot tub is shows lots of wear and tear so not very inviting. The rugs in the bathroom need replacing or washing. The indoor gas fireplace was great! The second bedroom is very small for two couples. They didn’t have much room to put things away. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

Great cabin in the mountains!

We had a wonderful getaway weekend at this cabin. The fire pit and hot tub were so wonderful amongst the trees. While it was a trek to reach, the seclusion of the cabin was so nice. The cabin was well taken care of and overall we can a great experience.

Lovely Cabin in the Woods

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay in the Holly Hollow Cabin. It was very close to Blue Ridge and other places. We especially loved being able to bring our dog! Our friends visiting from France were very happy with our choice.

Peaceful and perfect cabin in the woods.

We enjoyed this cabin. It was well appointed with all the comforts of home in every room. Several places to relax outdoors and inside. Very dog friendly! Nearby excellent restaurants (Whiskey and Water) and wineries. Engelheim Vineyards was a favorite. Had a nice morning ride on Freedom Rail Bike.

Nice Cabin

Cabin was very nice and we enjoyed our stay immensely . Highly recommend staying there if its still available. There was mass confusion on the list as right after we booked our stay the listing was brought down and we could never access it again. Messaged the property manager for details on what was in the cabin which weren't accurate . The inside fireplace only worked one time. The pilot was lit but the remote would not seem to start the fireplace per instructions provided. To be fair they offered to come service it but we did not have time to coordinate that around our activities. Add'l there were 5-7 piles of poop in yard that that I guess the previous guests did not clean up. All in all a great cabin that I would stay at again.
