The property was clean, comfortable, and well set up for a relaxing mountain getaway. One thing we immediately appreciated was the sizable parking area, which made it easy for multiple vehicles to park without any issues.The hot tub was a highlight and a perfect way to unwind after spending the day exploring the area. Inside, the mattresses were very comfortable, and the cabin had plenty of amenities that made the stay easy and enjoyable.The location also provides easy access to Blue Ridge while still feeling quiet and private. If you have dogs like us, fenced in yard is hard to find, the dogs loved being off the leash able to run around, easier for us as well. We met our host Lee & Mindy at their sheep farm, make time to go visit them, the kids will love it! The cabin is well equipped, has everything you need, and so cute, roomy, we loved the gas fireplace & hot tub! I truly appreciate how close this is to downtown Blue Ridge; just 1.5 miles to great restaurants and cute shops. If you are traveling with a dog this is the place to be. Nice flat fenced in yard. The inside was very clean and pet friendly. There were no items down that a dog might like to get which we liked. The furniture is old and needs replacing. Same for master bedroom mattress. The televisions are less than average. Other than that, it was difficult to use hot tub but I take blame there. Eventually we figured it out. The porch door lock broke off, it was old. Easy to fix. The yard was terrific. The dog liked being able to sniff around. Plenty of easy parking. No large hills to climb. It was the perfect little getaway and exactly what we needed. The cabin was peaceful, clean, and comfortable with beautiful views all around. Our dog had the best time exploring the property and it felt very pet friendly which made the trip even better.The hot tub was a great bonus. It was great for the dog. It opens at 7am, so it is a great way to start the day. Also, they had a crate for our dog. The host was very friendly and let us know about specific activities.
