It was a multi-generational family gathering from ages 11-72\. The house was clean, accurately represented in the pictures and spacious. The house is conveniently located across from Mercier Orchards as well as downtown Blue Ridge and McCaysville. We enjoyed our time at the house. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool but the hot tub was perfect. We did wish that there was a bathroom on the second floor as it was rather inconvenient for guests to walk up and down to use the bathroom. Also, there was no indication in the description of dampness in the basement, but it was readily apparent by the odor as well as the dehumidifier. As a result, the kids didn’t go down there to play at all. The basement and the games down there might as well not even have been there for our purposes. That did not diminish too much the overall experience. The hosts were quick to communicate and respond to questions. Overall we had a great time at Cider House. ##### Robert D. The house was very comfortable..very spacious, very accommodating for 10 of us. Although there should be curtains in bathroom windows. You could see right into the shower of the master bath from the deck...we hung towels in windows. Also it would have been nice to have some towels for pool use. There were no basics in kitchen. In other homes we were provided coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper. Hot tub was not heating when we got there but Malachi was there and took care of the problem very promptly. Very nice young man! The place was very spacious and well kept. The kitchen was well supplied; but, the ice machine in the fridge didn't work and we have a hard time trying to figure out how to turn the oven on.
