This River Cabin is on the beautiful Toccoa River and is located in the heart of the Aska adventure area. With a view of the river and direct river access, you can enjoy river activities and fishing right from the property. Other activities around include hiking to waterfalls and being in nature. The interior has been updated but still has a vintage feel. So come enjoy a beautiful view, and restful time, or have amazing outdoor adventures. Wifi and streaming are now available on a 65-inch smart TV!

⭐If you\`re feeling adventurous, you\`ll love the many nearby hiking trails, and just 3 miles away, you can visit the stunning Falls Branch Falls.
⭐For those attending weddings at Aska Farms, we are just 3.5 miles away, making our cabin the perfect place to stay.
⭐Don\`t miss out on visiting the popular Merciers Orchard, only 10 miles away, as well as Bear Claw and Serenberry Vineyards and Winery, both within 16 miles.

We live off a paved road so no need for four-wheel drive. Parking is at the top of the stairs. Additional parking for more than two cars is available by request.
Listing notes:
⭐Escape to the beautiful mountains in our cozy cabin that offers stunning views and a peaceful retreat. We have a washer and dryer that can be accessed by request. Simply message the host for the information.
⭐ The river level can go up or down depending on the weather. Sometimes it’s high and flowing fast, other times it’s lower and more mellow. We can’t predict it, so just something to be aware of during your stay!
⭐ Washer and dryer are available upon request. Please message the host.
⭐Please note that there are two cabins on the property, but the fire pit is reserved for guests of this cabin only. You can gather around the fire and enjoy the mountain air without any disruptions. We do recommend picking up a starter log for the fireplace or fire pit - they can easily be found at the local grocery store.
⭐For those who love to grill, we have a gas grill available for your use. And for those adventurous souls, you can take a dip in the river at your own risk. Just keep in mind that the river can vary in depth and speed depending on the recent rainfall.
⭐Trash is picked up at the end of the walkway towards the other cabin. Please use the outdoor trash can to dispose of your garbage. We have also provided some initial paper products for your convenience, but for longer stays (over 4 days), guests will be responsible for replenishing their own supplies.
⭐Quiet hours are from 11 pm-6 am
⭐No pets are allowed.
⭐We have provided enough paper products to get you started during your stay. If a stay is longer than 4 days, the guest will be responsible for replenishing their additional supplies.

SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Keep in mind that sometimes the river is very fast and deep, and other times it is very slow and shallow. It all depends on how much rain we get.

Me and my wife stayed here for a weekend get away before Christmas. The pictures don’t do the cabin justice it is super clean and cozy inside and the hosts are available and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Amazing mountain cabin, wouldn’t change anything. The owners are very attentive and care about their guests. The river was a few steps away and the fire pit was a great place for roasting marshmallows! We’ll be back.

Cabin is close enough to the highway to hear loud vehicles but really not a lot of traffic. Back porch with large swing bed was a wonderful place to relax and listen to the water cascading over the rock in the river below. Very clean and well furnished. Would recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin! It was clean and very comfortable. We had great communication with the manager. The location along the River was fantastic! #### Perfect Romantic Getaway
We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary in Blue Ridge. The Riverhouse was perfect for a romantic getaway. The property listing was accurate, and actually exceeded our expectations when we arrived. The Host responded to questions in a prompt fashion and was very friendly. The house was clean and well equipped for a quick trip or longer-term stay. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend!

This river home is a perfect mountain getaway. It’s close enough to town for all the conveniences, but far enough away to give a sense of escape. Being so close to the Aska Trail System was super nice. We did a different hike every morning. Relaxing by the river at the end of the day was wonderful. There’s a restaurant and a general store a mile down the road. Great vacation home!

I wish the code to gain entry would be sent the day before as the day of we were traveling and not seeing the code I confused the code from VRBO to access the app as the code to get in the door which of course didn't work. Thankful the owners were next door. Turns out the code went to my spam.. Loved the cabin and we had a wonderful stay.

Location was absolutely beautiful and very convenient to shops and multiple hiking locations. Well appointed kitchen and relaxing screened in porch. Our favorite part was eating around the campfire by the river, and our daughter loved exploring up the small stream beside the property. It is a bit of a steep walk down to the fire pit area, so just be aware of that if you have smaller kids or older members of the family. Property manager was very quick to respond when we had questions.

#### Boys trip weekend
My friend and I took our sons on a Blue Ridge mountain weekend for a getaway of fishing and hanging out. The property was perfect. Right on the river (where we caught a nice 8" rainbow trout), fire pit area overlooking the river that was great to hangout around at night with the sounds of the water rushing by, and the house was stocked with everything needed for cooking, coffee, and even games if we had forgotten ours. The location was great as well. Gives you that "out in the middle of no where" feeling, but there are places to eat and go to near by. Downtown Blue Ridge is also a quick drive down the road, so we couldn't have asked for more location wise. Property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had, and communicated the check-in process clearly. Will definitely be in the favorites list for future trips to the mountains.

#### Summer family vacation
We made our first trip to Blue Ridge for our summer family vacation this year. This riverside cabin was the perfect spot for us! I felt right at home-like I was staying in my grandparents home place! The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the screened back porch on the comfy bed swing, listening to the river and birds sing. We saw a deer and her fawn up close too! It feels like you are in a treehouse with trees all around and great view of the river. Be careful of the steep walk down to the river, but my husband and I and our kids (6 & 9) didn’t have any issues making it down there. Joy always responded quickly to my questions and was kind. The owners live right beside the cabin and respected our privacy, but were available if we needed anything. One night the power went out and the owner walked over to give us a flashlight to use and reassure us. I thought that was so kind. The location was great too! It didn’t take long to get to town or to tubing activities. I would love to come back one day!

#### A cabin on a river with good beds!
What more could you ask for??" My wife, son, and I stayed here for 4 nights. We try to do a cabin stay every year around Xmas. Typically we have to cut the trip short because it's impossible to get comfortable in some of these places...old furniture, uncomfortable beds that are too small and make too much noise. This is the first cabin we've stayed in where I've actually been able to sleep well, and what a difference it makes!!The location is absolutely perfect. Right on the Toccoa River. The sounds of water constantly rushing bring peace and a sense of calm while you're hanging out by the fire or having morning coffee staring at the waters. This was by far the selling point for us for this trip.The cabin is great. The couch is comfortable, the beds are fantastic, and it has all the standard stuff you would need. We were able to cook every night, come in for some TV to warm up whenever we spent too long by the river and got cold. The size is great, and the layout is interesting. The decorations for xmas were a nice touch, too. I can't say enough good things. We will definitely be coming back here! Hopefully during the summer, if we can swing it, because all I wanted to do the whole trip was swim and fish in that river!! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy this small piece of nature for a few days.

#### Wonderful place to stay
This was a great get away for me to take my grandchildren during their spring break. They loved being on the river and hearing the water. The screened in back porch with swinging bed was a plus! Highly recommend for a peaceful stay.

From booking, to check in, and leaving .. Hands down best vacation we have had! The place is absolutely stunning! And the host was nothing short of Amazing! If you’re looking for a quiet but stunning vacation home this place is it! And it’s so close to all the amenities that Blue Ridge has to offer! We definitely will be back this summer with our kids!
