OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE: ⭐ Accessibility & Parking You’ll have easy access via a paved road—no four-wheel drive needed! Parking is on the landing above the cabin with stairs leading down to the entrance. You’ll also take a flight of stairs to reach the river, so guests should be comfortable navigating stairs. Extra parking for more than two vehicles can be arranged upon request. ⭐ River & Safety Notice Adventurous guests are welcome to take a dip in the river, but please swim at your own risk. The river’s depth and current can change with rainfall—sometimes fast and deep, other times calm and shallow. Always use caution when entering the water. ⭐ Fire Pit & Outdoor Spaces Please note that there are two cabins on the property, but the fire pit is reserved exclusively for guests of this cabin. Gather around and enjoy the mountain air without interruption. We recommend picking up a starter log for the fireplace or fire pit, available at the local grocery store. ⭐ Cabin Details The downstairs area of the cabin is currently unavailable to guests. ⭐ Amenities \- Washer and dryer available upon request—please message the host. \- Gas grill provided for guest use. \- Starter supply of essentials is provided to last approximately four days; for longer stays, guests are responsible for restocking. ⭐ Trash Trash pickup is located at the end of the walkway near the other cabin. My wife, son, and I stayed here for 4 nights. We try to do a cabin stay every year around Xmas. Typically we have to cut the trip short because it's impossible to get comfortable in some of these places...old furniture, uncomfortable beds that are too small and make too much noise. This is the first cabin we've stayed in where I've actually been able to sleep well, and what a difference it makes!!The location is absolutely perfect. Right on the Toccoa River. The sounds of water constantly rushing bring peace and a sense of calm while you're hanging out by the fire or having morning coffee staring at the waters. This was by far the selling point for us for this trip.The cabin is great. The couch is comfortable, the beds are fantastic, and it has all the standard stuff you would need. We were able to cook every night, come in for some TV to warm up whenever we spent too long by the river and got cold. The size is great, and the layout is interesting. The decorations for xmas were a nice touch, too. I can't say enough good things. We will definitely be coming back here! Hopefully during the summer, if we can swing it, because all I wanted to do the whole trip was swim and fish in that river!! Back porch with large swing bed was a wonderful place to relax and listen to the water cascading over the rock in the river below. Very clean and well furnished. The Riverhouse was perfect for a romantic getaway. The property listing was accurate, and actually exceeded our expectations when we arrived. The Host responded to questions in a prompt fashion and was very friendly. The house was clean and well equipped for a quick trip or longer-term stay. It was clean and very comfortable. We had great communication with the manager. The location along the River was fantastic! But it was also very close to so many amazing activities and areas to see. It’s close enough to town for all the conveniences, but far enough away to give a sense of escape. Being so close to the Aska Trail System was super nice. We did a different hike every morning. This riverside cabin was the perfect spot for us! I felt right at home-like I was staying in my grandparents home place! The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the screened back porch on the comfy bed swing, listening to the river and birds sing. We saw a deer and her fawn up close too! It feels like you are in a treehouse with trees all around and great view of the river. Be careful of the steep walk down to the river, but my husband and I and our kids (6 & 9) didn’t have any issues making it down there. Joy always responded quickly to my questions and was kind. The owners live right beside the cabin and respected our privacy, but were available if we needed anything. One night the power went out and the owner walked over to give us a flashlight to use and reassure us. I thought that was so kind. The location was great too! It didn’t take long to get to town or to tubing activities. I would love to come back one day! ##### sarah C.
