The cabin had the most Beautiful View from a Mountain top, with 2 large decks on 2 levels, and a sun room/ view room off the master bedroom on the top level. The hot tub was Awesome, and the outdoor fireplace was perfect for sitting by the fire, roasting marshmellows, and looking at the view. We never heard from the kids once we arrive because the bottle floor was so perfectly targeted to their likings. We wanted a getaway where we didnā€™t have to leave. This was definitely it! We couldn't believe how incredible the house was. It was very cozy and felt like we belonged there. The decorations and attention to detail was on point. We loved all of the space the property offered. Every room was decorated very nicely and the property management really kept the place clean. We took advantage of the outdoor fireplace; its where we spent most of our time. The views of Blue Ridge mountains were impressive. Out back faces East, so the sunrises were amazing! We are already talking about returning to the same place next year and bringing our closest friends. Almost Heaven is a site to see. ##### kevin b. We loved staying at Almost Heaven! The views were absolutely amazing! The cabin was super clean and provided all that we needed for our stay. Although it was the summer, we still had a lovely fire outside on the deck every night and even had a camp fire for the kids. The grill was brand new and the furniture was updated and super comfy. Loved the upstair recliners - you could just sink in and take a nap. The kids loved having their own room downstairs with everything they needed. The only drawback was the hot tub- it needs to be updated. It wouldnā€™t get hotter than 94ā€¦ we tried everything to get the temp up. Itā€™s pretty old but we still enjoyed it. The only 2 things wereā€¦ one is the air hockey table and foosball table or not in the cabin like they are listed on the pictures. Also, the heat went out and we had to call the management team. it was after hours and it took them over an hour to call us back. Luckily, one of the members of our family had the exact same type of furnace and he was able to reset it. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience. Clean to the eye when you walk in but awful once you start unpacking or cooking. Hot tub was not working and I clearly asked when I reserved if hot tub was up and running. Called and never a call back or anyone to come fix it. My oldest son had to UTube the model and fix ourselves. So much to list and just can't. We left early as well. ##### Rene P. The sitting room in the upstairs bedroom was fantastic to sit and relax. A few maintenance items are needed: recliner, pool table wobbly and hole in basket, air hockey table, ping pong paddles, grill has a burner out. The cabin was decorated super cozy and the hosts thought of everything to help us feel right at home. The view was breathtaking and we loved being able to take it all in from multiple locations in the cabin. Sitting having coffee in the morning looking out the master window was a fabulous way to wake up. The hot tub and ping pong table were also a very nice addition for us. Sitting on the porch around a nice fire was the perfect anniversary ambiance. We loved itā€™s not too far from activities like Mercierā€™s Orchard, horseback riding, zip lining, and Blue Ridge. Almost Heaven was everything we hoped for and more!! My husband and I took our 3 daughters for a week getaway. We had never been to the area and did not know what to expect. When we arrived everything was exactly as it was pictured. Everything was spotless. So clean!! And we LOVED the sitting room in the master bedroom. We sat there each morning and evening relaxing and looking at the gorgeous view! I really cannot say enough positives about this place.
