Q: Are there extra charges for using the hot tub and bringing or extra guests? A: We do not charge a fee to use the hot tub or any other amenities included in the home. The maximum occupancy is 10 guests, which includes adults and children. Extra guests are not allowed. Q: Can I park on the street? A: NO street parking whatsoever. The driveway has plenty of parking, can easily fit 4 cars! Q: What time is check-in and check-out? A: Check-in is after 5 PM local time, and check-out is no later than 11 AM local time to give our caretakers enough time to prepare the home for the next guest. Q: Do you allow early check-in or late check-outs? A: We cannot accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. This policy ensures that our caretakers can clean and properly prepare the property for our next guests. Failing to comply will result in a charge equal to one night’s stay to cover the inconvenience and potential delay caused to incoming guests. Q: Will I need to meet the property manager to get a key to the cabin? A: This cabin has a smart key system that allows entry through the issue of a numbered code rather than a physical key. Q: Do you provide a mid-stay or daily cleaning service? A: All stays include a departure clean. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee. Q: Can I ship a package to my home? A: Many different people have access to the home, and we cannot be responsible for packages once they are delivered. Therefore, we do not recommend doing this. Q: Do your homes have an outdoor music system? A: Most outdoor music systems are disabled due to noise complaints. We recommend bringing a small Bluetooth speaker since you can arrange it where you like, and it is easy to connect to! Absolutely no outside music past 10 PM. Only low decibel, no amplified speakers. Q: Do you allow pets? A: Our vacation rentals are pet-friendly. We allow up to two pets, and charge a $150 pet fee. Q: Where is the nearest hospital? A: The nearest hospital is Blue Ridge Medical Center, roughly 13 minutes away. Q: How are the road conditions in the winter? A: The local community maintains the roads so that they can be easily accessed with a 4-wheel-drive vehicle. We have also seen plenty of Honda Civics do just fine! Q: What type of security system do you have in place? A: We use smart locks that change codes with every guest who stays at our cabin. Nice floorplan. Enornous deck and ample outdoor seating. The drive up the mountain was a challenge. The road has eroded away in many places (dirt gravel road). Steep incline. We had 4x4 Expedition with Hill decent feature. We did okay in that, but i was glad my husband was driving and not me. The only con was the hot tub wasnt able to be used bc it needed to be cleaned. The owner tried.to help, and was responsive, but it didnt work out for us to enjoy it for our trip. They were grateful we let them know, and are working on getting it resolved. Lots of fun. Nearby kayaking, tubing, and hiking trails. We loved going to Toccoa Valley Campground for kayaking and tubing! A great place to get away and retreat. Absolute perfect setting for a girls weekend getaway! Porch sitting is a MUST!! Kitchen is fully stocked with an abundance of appliances, big and small, and has just about everything you'd need. Beds are super comfy, and plenty of room for groups to stay. Hot tub is great and the game room is perfect with plenty of things to do! We even saw a bear while we were there! The host provides great directions and a video of the drive, which made getting up the mountain super easy (I did it in a Ford Edge, no problem).Inside, everything is spotless and beautifully done — upscale-rustic decor with wood and leather throughout. The downstairs is the perfect hangout zone: hot tub with killer views, a pool table, leather couches, and a retro arcade console with classics (yes, Galaga and Pac-Man included). There’s also a bedroom and a spacious bathroom accessible from the room or main space.The main level has a high-end kitchen, cozy fireplace, and easy access to a grill and deck. The top floor has a massive log-frame bed, a stunning mountain-view balcony, and an updated spa-like bathroom. TVs are crystal clear (as good as my 4K OLED at home), and the Wi-Fi is solid.Outside, there’s a hammock, a fenced yard for pups, and a mountain-facing firepit with firewood included. It’s peaceful, private, and feels like you’re truly part of the mountain range.Bonus: there’s even a Generac generator (it worked like a charm when a storm blew through on our last night) if the power goes out. 10/10 stay — I’ll be back. ##### Chad H. At least bedroom on each level was perfect for our party of 6\. There are towels but no soap or shampoo or anything in the showers so know to bring that stuff. We traveled with 6 adults, and had plenty of room to play cards, put together puzzles and watch t.v. The weather was in the single digits during our stay so we weren't able to do much outdoors :(. However, it was nice that we didn't have to be right on top of each other. the entire time We would love to return when the weather warms up to take advantage of the huge porch and amazing view!! Keep in mind, the road to the cabin is steep! My in-laws were unable to make it up one of the hills covered in ice/snow and had to leave their car at the church at the bottom of the ridge for the weekend. ##### Winfield C. Enjoyed games & meals together at the big dining table with a stunning view of the mountains & valley. We were even treated to a meteor shower! The most relaxing getaway ever! The photos really do not deceive, the views were incredible all three balconies! Yes three! The decor was beautiful and elegant but cozy cabin feel at the same time. Beds were comfy, hot tub was great and fenced in firepit area was clutch. Kids had plenty of entertainment in the basement with games and pool table and my husband and I enjoyed our coffee/wine on the porch. Only feedback would be maybe to provide starter toiletries for the bathroom and maybe some coffee for that first morning if you hadn’t made it to the store yet. The cabin was exactly as represented online. The owners were very communicative with all of our needs and questions both before our stay and after our arrival. Stunning Mountain views, great hot tub, fire pit, and fireplace. We didn’t watch TV for 4 days and it was so refreshing!
