« This house had a lot of rooms to comfortably house 9 of us adults in queen or twin beds in 7 rooms. (A lot of houses offered a couple of queen beds and bunk beds for this number of people). « A beautiful little cabin that has been cleverly made from a mix of new and repurposed materials. Had everything you needed for bedding and in the kitchen. Wifi was very patchy so definitely don’t plan to do any computer time. It’s best for just switching off and watching the birds across the bush line. Just magic. »

« Great property, facilities and supplies were very good. Our main issue was the bunk beds do not have much head height on the lower bunk, and we could not use the top bunks for the kids as the safety rails only just reached the top of the mattress and they would fall out if rolled in the night. Otherwise very happy with the cabin and hosts. »

« Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. »
