This area is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, offering guests easy access to breathtaking bushwalks, majestic waterfalls, and panoramic lookouts. Whether you're here to explore the scenic wonders or unwind in a tranquil setting, our property provides the perfect base for your getaway. Whether you want to explore the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains, relax in the luxurious surroundings of our place, or simply enjoy some downtime, this vacation rental has everything you need to make your stay unforgettable. This is a self-contained apartment featuring two comfortable bedroom, we can 4 guests in this apartment. We will provide bedding for the reservation. Front yard driveway \*Suitable for 3 cars. It is first come, first served based. There are also many 24-hour free parking on the street. \* must climb stairs \* First Bedroom with one king-sized bed \* Second Bedroom with one king sized bed (combined with 2 single beds) and an ensuite. \* Bathroom with toilet, shower over the bathtub. \* Living room with a lounge, gas heating, smart TV with Netflix, and a coffee table \* Fully equipped kitchen with cooktop, dishwasher, fridge etc Air conditioning, there are cooling air conditioner in living room and dinning area. Autumn at 157 Megalong Street, Leura, is nothing short of magical. As the season unfolds, the village is transformed into a vibrant tapestry of reds, oranges, and yellows. The crisp air is filled with the earthy scent of fallen leaves, and the surrounding trees create a picturesque backdrop that seems straight out of a painting. Guests can enjoy leisurely strolls along tree-lined streets, where the foliage creates a colorful canopy overhead, or take a short drive to explore the famous autumn gardens in the area. Whether you're sipping a warm drink by the fire or venturing out to admire the seasonal beauty, autumn in Leura offers a serene and unforgettable experience. • We kindly request that you respect our property and leave it in a clean condition upon your departure. Please do not move any furniture, and report any damages that occur during your stay. • Please note that an additional cleaning fee may apply if the room is excessively dirty or messy upon checkout. • We kindly ask that you refrain from consuming strongly scented foods, such as durian or curry, inside the room. This helps us maintain a pleasant environment for all our guests. • Please maintain low noise levels between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and refrain from creating any disruptive noise. • Smoking is strictly prohibited. A $200 charge will be deducted from the security deposit for any evidence of smoking. • No parties or events on the premises. If such activities are reported during your stay, you will be asked to vacate the property immediately, and a charge of $300 will apply for any evidence of such gatherings. • We kindly remind our guests that pets are not permitted in our guesthouse. This policy helps us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all our visitors. • If you find yourself locked out and require assistance from the manager, a $100 fee will be applicable before 10 p.m. Please be aware that we cannot assist with key-related issues after 10 p.m. each day. • In case of a lost key, a $200 fee will be incurred for key replacement. • The use of illegal drugs is strictly forbidden on the property. Any violations will result in immediate contact with the authorities. Violation of this rule will result in termination of your occupancy, eviction, and forfeiture of rental fees. • Please be aware that access to the facilities in the building cannot be guaranteed, as maintenance will be conducted occasionally. The property is in very good condition and the generous array of faux-period furnishings are both tasteful and comfortable. Everything expected was there and it mostly worked as expected – see below for what didn’t. The two king beds were comfortable, the linens crisp and clean and we are all able to find a satisfactory pillow. The bathrooms are commodious, well appointed and the plumbing worked well. We scored one of the onsite parking spaces but there’s plenty of adjoining street parking if you miss out. Mandalay’s proximity to Leura’s downtown centre was especially welcome. The not so good: The booking process through VRBO started out well but once handed off to the host/manager, Serain Residences, deteriorated into a rabbit-warren of information exchange and correspondence that would probably have been less cumbersome if we had been buying the place. The bad: the TV remote control did not work, and a change of batteries did not fix it. While rummaging around trying to operate the TV without the remote, it became evident that shelf containing all the attendant apparatus had not been cleaned for an eternity which made us wonder where else in the place might have been so afflicted. ##### Ted M.
