"J'ai adoré cet hôtel et notre chambre. On avait des difficultés de trouver notre chambre initialement — l'hôtel est immense et consiste en trois ailes / bâtiments lié(e)s. Mais ceci fait partie de sa charme — il s'agit des bâtiments construits il y a plus que cent ans pour une entreprise d'assurance. Pourtant, le problème principal avec notre chambre était qu'elle n'était pas suffisamment insonorisée du bruit de l'extérieur — et il y en avait beaucoup. Le plafond de la chambre était très haut — ce qui était assez cool en principe — et la fenêtre était immense. Pourtant le double vitrage — la fenêtre original et une fenêtre ajoutée plus récemment — n'était pas suffisant pour assurer l'insonorisation. Donc, même au deuxième étage on pouvait entendre les discussions entre les gens et pas seulement les cris des ivres / drogués — ce dont il y en avait pas mal aussi!! J'aime beaucoup Manchester — quelle ville dynamique — et veux visiter encore. Pourtant, j'essayerai un des autres hôtels 5 / 4 étoiles en espérant une meilleure insonorisation des chambres ou au moins un quartier un peu plus calme!!"

"I'm a little late writing this review since we stayed in April, but as we're planning another trip to Manchester, there isn't a single doubt in my mind where we'll be staying. Everything at the Motel One Royal Exchange went far beyond our expectations. The rooms were clean, the mattresses were great, the decoration of the lobby was stunning, the location was probably the best we could have found in Manchester. And despite being in the heart of the city, our room was impressively silent. But what shone the most during our stay there was the staff. We received flawless service from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Everyone was remarkably helpful and nice. I was visiting for business purposes, so I had a few parcels waiting for me when we arrived. Michael, from the staff, was an absolute angel as he helped me get it all in my room. Mohammed Raji at the desk was always smiling and helpful. And we made sure to spend an hour or more at the bar every evening and worked our way through the cocktail list, expertly mixed by Neio behind the counter, who was also a delight. I didn't get to write down everyone's names, but there hasn't been a single encounter with the staff that wasn't perfectly pleasant and professional. And again, everything was clean, beautifully decorated, and very well situated within the city. I cannot recommend them enough!"

"Magnifique monument historique, le service est au top , c est vraiment un belle et énorme endroit . La literie moyenne , pas de clim , chambre simple et propre , simple vitrage qui rend la chambre bruyante , mais côté couloir une deuxième porte fait son effet et insonorisé très bien la chambre . Un belle endroit , l entretiens de ce bâtiment ne doit pas être simple mais on sent su il est entretenus petit a petit , magnifique endroit , très bien situé au coeur historique de la ville .on a adorer le bâtiment ."

"Very pleasant hotel , dedicated staff, very comfortable room (I was upgraded and that came as a great surprise, thank you again ☺️). The hotel is within walking distance of various places of interest , very well located + public transport 2 mn away ! I strongly recommend the accommodation 👍"
