While I was getting old, and thinking how small we are compared to the infinite time and scale of the universe, the glacier was saying it out loud with a rocking sound of cracking ice. Aletsch glacier - the longest glacier in the alps, but it shrinks every year, and it might disappear one day. Aletsch glacier - the longest glacier in the alps, but it shrinks every year, and it might disappear one day. "Cheap hotel very well located in the city center. Rooms are small (can be noisy depending on the neighbors) and quite old but clean. There is a common living room where is a fridge and a microwave oven, which allows heating meals. Breakfast is included but as we stayed there, the only hot beverage was tea as the coffee/hot milk/ machine was out of order. No parking at the hotel, there are several ones around but are expensive."
