"Spent the weekend here as a group for my sisters hen weekend. The photographs don’t do the facility justice. The house was amazing with so much character!! The staircase, aga and fire were fantastic!! Set in such a peaceful space with excellent grounds for kids and big ‘kids’ to play games. Plenty of space and rooms were an amazing size and comfortable! "As so many other reviews have said, really good atmosphere, staff very friendly and approachable. Real buzz about the place with it being a workspace by day also - even spotted a few snoozy dogs at people's feet while they were working away. For me, the absolute highlight is the gym - compared to hotel gyms (and I travel quite a bit), it's absolute tops for me. Just to say also, I read quite a few reviews mentioning it's mainly a space for young people - it is in some ways but it's in no sense exclusionary, quite the opposite and I felt very welcomed and at ease (I'm not a young person!). A real collaborative vibe in the communal areas, I was visiting for work and ended up having some random stimulating chats with other guests/workers. Happily recommend and will be my go to when back in Glasgow."

"We stayed overnight before my daughter's wedding for a dinner in Stirling. I loved the vibe, historic Scotland on the outside, contemporary restaurant, bar and rooms on the inside. My bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. It is a great walk to downtown Stirling. Only one thing I would wish for and that was air conditioning. However, this was July and not something one would encounter as outside it was chilly but the windows didn't really let in the cool weather. However, the hotel is really lovely and I would not hesitate to stay here again."
