"The property was good beds comfy we were there to catch-up with friends so only really used it to sleep in . Felt the place was clean but towels smelt of damp & dishes towel smelt really bed .when we came in front door smelt a bit damp think it was coming from drying room & went up stairs there was a smell of cooking & bathrooms wee bit damp smell as well just feel the place need a bit of a deep clean just to make it smell a bit fresher ."

The best bit about the hotel is the evening food. They have a very good chef, and a decent menu. The food presentation is very good and tastes excellent. I had the balmoral chicken one night and the slow cooked beef the second night. Both were excellent. It is far better than the surrounding eating restaurants that offer basic burger and chips."

There are some wonderful views surrounding the cottage, including the loch. An excellent place to relax and I would highly recommend. Also great communication from the owners."
