"We wanted to explore a new town on the way to our final destination. We found this delightful downtown spot rich with history. We also loved the attention to detail and added amenities. "3rd time stayed here and great as usual. Would stay again. I rarely ever have issues with the hotels/motels themselves. It’s the other guests which are usually the issue with their lack of awareness to the noise they create. Or, in this case, the dog(s) they travel with that constantly bark when they leave them alone in the room. Not the dog’s fault, was probably anxious. This was in room right next to me so no way to cover that sound with anything else. Will just request next time to maybe not place me in a room where there will be dogs right nearby if possible. The amusing part about it…this dog was barking like it was trying to say “I love you” 😄. Also, the AC/Heat unit is in the entry room only so may take some setting of the fan on high to get air back toward the bedroom on hotter days. I haven’t had any comfort issues with this myself though."
