We had a lovely stay at Grosvenor Villa. Richard greeted us at the door and gave us a little bit of history on the property. The room was lovely and clean with nice complimentaries stocked. The villa was about a 30 minute was to the centre, but the walk was lovely along the canal. The breakfast had a good amount of options and Richard happily made us toast and porridge if we wanted it. We stayed at Grosvenor Villa for two nights during our visit to Bath and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation was very comfortable, and Richard proved to be an excellent host—warm, welcoming, and full of helpful suggestions about places to visit. The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The villa itself carries a fascinating history, brought to life through Richard’s intriguing stories, making it a destination worth visiting in its own right. Elegant room with tea, biscuits and free red wine. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The Pride and Prejudice room was great, spacious, clean and we loved the extra touches (wine, bath robes). The riverside walk to the centre took about 20 minutes and through Sydney gardens. Breakfast room was unique and the continental breakfast was delicious. We’d highly recommend. The bed was very comfortable. There was wine, cookies, coffee & tea in the room each day. The room was cozily decorated. The bathroom was large, and the tub wonderful. Richard the host was fabulous! So entertaining and charming. The continental breakfast was sumptuous, with many choices including wonderful porridge.
