There is approximately a 200-yard walk to the ski slopes. The condo features an open-concept kitchen/living area with a stone gas-log fireplace. The kitchen is fully furnished so you can eat in if you do not feel like going out. The living area offers comfortable seating and large screen TV. The master bedroom is on the first floor with a king-size bed. The guest bedroom is upstairs and has a queen bunkbed. Upstairs you will also find a unique laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer and a single bed tucked away in the corner if you need more sleeping space. Plenty of space for a group of 5-6 with large queen bunks for the kids. Cooked all our meals at the house and had everything we needed. Easy check in and great communication from management. I decided to book this place for the open kitchen/living rm and location - I was intrigued by the proximity of this condo to the slopes and the ability to walk to the ski lodge if desired. The property had some modern updates done to the living rm and bedrooms - it had nice tv and huge sectional couch. Beds were comfortable. The back deck looked out toward the lodge and beginner slopes. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. Having 2 full bathrooms was very helpful for 6 ppl. The fireplace just and electric faux fireplace, not gas with actual flames, which was one of the only disappointments. ##### Benjamin S. Internet quit, and router replaced within the hour. Electric quit, but mgr had it turned back on within hrs. All hiccups that were quickly remedied by Joan and Joey, the property.managers. During our July visit, it got a little warm during the day but cooled off at night... It was very clean, cozy, and we loved the decorative bear theme. It really set the tone for us visiting NC. I could tell the owners put a lot of thought into it which is why we are giving it a 5\. They had some movies, cards, markers, and coloring books for the kids. The property is pretty small which we enjoyed, but for 6 adults it might get a little tight. However, the couch pulls out and they provide a twin mattress cot as well. ##### Haley H.
