"Very nice hotel in Sligo. Convenient to local shops and restaurants. Has a small off street parking lot but I parked in an outdoor pay lot for about $8 euros for 24 hours. Free on Sundays. Restaurant food was very good. Nice breakfast options for a fee. My second stay here in two years. Would recommend to fellow travelers. I would book again when visiting Sligo."

The Snuggly Sheep Shepherd Hut & Sauna Farm Stay

The Snuggly Sheep Shepherd Hut & Sauna Farm Stay

10/10 Excellent
"This was a fun place to stay! Elspeth greeted us warmly when we arrived, check-in was easy, and communication was excellent. The property is gorgeous, with amazing views. The Snuggly Sheep hut was comfortable, with fun sheep-themed decor, and very well equipped for self-catering. The fact that it's on a working farm really adds to the experience - there are sheep and cows, as well as llamas, and a donkey, a pony, and a miniature horse to interact with. The hosts have several activities guests can participate in with the llamas, cows, and ponies, as well as a farm tour. You can walk through the pastures down to the Erne Estuary for birdwatching or just enjoying the countryside. There is also a wood-fired sauna with a sunset view (which we didn't use as it was already quite warm). I really hope to return here again someday! I just loved it."

"Excellent host, great communication. Cottage was beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Has more than you need. Everything is high quality. Appliances are good brands and all in good condition. Location is close enough to towns so there is plenty of good shops and restaurants yet the cottage is in a quiet natural environment. We woke up to birds singing. "
