Burnet Road, the area's main commercial strip, provides dining options ranging from creative taco joints to foodie hot spots to relaxed pubs. Getting Around: We recommend that guests rent a car during your stay in Austin as many of Austin’s best attractions and fun things to do are scattered around the city and much more convenient when accessed by car. While there are certainly public transportation options such as buses and individual transportation options such as scooters/bikes/mopeds, these options are mainly convenient and readily available around the downtown Austin area and quickly becomes sparse even a couple miles outside of city center. Rideshare apps such as Uber and Lyft are also great options but expenses can quickly add up as Austin rideshare rates are on the higher end and can surge very high during busy times, such as 2AM on weekends and during large events such as SXSW, conferences, F1, etc. Other Things to Note: ★★★ PRE-STAY GUEST VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED ★★★ To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal, and/or, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Guests who book more than 24 hours in advance will be able to check-in by 4 pm. \- We provide all of our guests a starter kit of consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, etc. Guests can purchase any additional consumables from nearby grocery stores that you think you might need during your stay beyond what's included in the starter kit. \- The apartment complex may run maintenance or clean the gym, and other shared amenities as they see fit at any time. Please be aware. \- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer/when season changes/when it’s raining, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters, especially if they are found dead, does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else. \- A $200 security deposit is required as part of the check-in process. This deposit is held to cover any incidentals or potential damages during your stay and will be refunded after check-out, provided no issues are identified. Guests also have the option to pay a non-refundable $35 damage waiver add-on that can cover up to a specified amount of accidental damage in lieu of the security deposit. \-Pets ARE allowed depending on size and are subject to pet fees. Please let us know beforehand and add the pet count to the reservation and be upfront about bringing a pet to avoid cancellation. Feb 23, 2026 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication Disliked: Location The unit itself was clean and fine, but the apartment complex made the stay unpleasant. It is right next to a train and it is incredibly loud, with the train going by sometimes several times a night. The complex is very old so and the unit is on the ground floor so you can hear everything that the upstairs neighbors are doing (especially private things you don't really want to hear during the night).The apartment complex is not the nicest and there were people up late being very loud in the parking lot several nights making it difficult to sleep. The unit is one of the very first units people walk by, so there are people walking by often and it is loud and uncomfortable.I saw people doing drugs in the parking lot and acting very loud and strange late at night. No one bothered me, but as a single woman I did not feel totally comfortable and I ended up leaving and staying elsewhere for the last half of my reservation. The hosts were very responsive via messenger, but unfortunately could not do anything about the complex experience. I am well traveled and have stayed in lots of apartment complexes, so I understand that there is not a lot of control over things outside the unit, but I wanted to write this review for someone who doesn't do well with constant noise or single women who are traveling and want to feel a bit more comfort and security. ##### Samantha w.
