Perfect location! This spacious oasis in Central Austin is walking distance to the ACL Festival in Zilker Park, SXSW Venues, UT football games, hike and bike trails, and more. Also a quick walk or 5 minute Uber ride to downtown and the State Capitol, the Governor's Mansion and the University of Texas (home to the Texas Longhorns, the Harry Ransom Center, the Blanton Art Museum and the UT Tower), as well as Lady Bird Lake, Barton Springs, Barton Creek Greenbelt, Pease Park, and the Johnson Creek Hike & Bike trail. It's the ideal set up for ACL, SXSW, UT football games or any of the other 50+ festivals year round in Austin. In addition, if you are a jogger or want to go for a leisurely bike ride or walk, Lady Bird Lake has trails ranging from 3-12 miles long -- this too is walking distance from the property. If you are attending any one of the various festivals downtown or in Zilker Park, it is within walking distance or a short Uber ride home. For Formula One fans, all transportation leaves from downtown locations as well. It's also a short drive or Uber ride to the entertainment district with restaurants, live music venues and many other nightclubs. It's also not a far drive from the Austin airport. The home itself is quite cozy and spacious, as well. Great kitchen and outdoor patio, too...and with a grill in case you want to cook out. The property manager met with them at the house to show them around and made sure they were settled with everything they needed. It was easy and fast to communicate with them and they answered all our questions thoroughly. The location is great and so close to so many fun and interesting things in Austin. This house was perfect. Lots of space, very clean and comfortable. Laura met us at the house for our arrival and walked us through. The neighborhood is fantastic...quiet residential area with lots of very close locations for groceries and a meal if you do not want to stray far but close enough to downtown to walk for get an inexpensive Uber/Lyft. I highly recommend the Galaxy Cafe for breakfast. We all had a blast and if I make it back to Austin I will definitely look Laura up for this house to stay in again! The neighbors on one side are apparently a little sensitive, but that's not a reflection on the owners. Only suggestion would be to upgrade TV package.
