Jan 6, 2026 Liked: Check-in Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy Upon check-in, the unit had an immediate and extremely strong fish odor coming from the refrigerator and freezer that spread throughout the entire property. The smell was persistent and made the space extremely difficult to occupy. We contacted property management right away and were told the issue would be addressed.Despite multiple follow-ups with both management and the host, no one entered the unit to inspect or clean the refrigerator or freezer during our stay. Instead, a deodorizing item was left at the door without any attempt to address the source of the odor. Because the refrigerator and freezer were unusable, we were unable to store food or cook, which significantly impacted the functionality of the unit.We were forced to vacate the property early.
