« This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun...

« We had such a wonderful time it's hard where to start.We traveled here with our 2 granddaughters and 2 of their friends. They all had a great time tubing and fishing and swimming in the river and in the lake. « This was a new part of Maine for us and by far our favorite. The cabin was the perfect lake cabin with everything you need and just steps to the lake. Theres a dock for swimming chairs an umbrella kayaks and a canoe! Saturday Pond was peaceful and beautiful with the loons and baby ducks- even a river otter. Tom and Lordes were the absolute best hosts. Accommodating, gave great suggestions and there when we needed anything. I wish we stayed longer! »

"Ce petit motel typique sans fioriture est propre et idéalement placé même s’il est sur l’IS1 très fréquentée, aucun bruit dans les chambres ! Le centre de Brunswick est facilement accessible en voiture. Le petit déjeuner est correct. En revanche, pas de salé : ni œuf, ni jambon. À noter également que le wifi n’était pas excellent dans notre chambre mais c’est peut être lié à l’emplacement.
