« When I first saw the place, my heart sank. Dirty and grungy and full of webs and bugs on the outside. But the interior was quite nice. I only noticed 2 minor things -- mop board below the toilet paper was dirty, and the vent fan needs to be cleaned. We had a good stay. Hot tub is perfectly functional. Easy walking distance to National Eagle Center, river walking paths, restaurants/bars. »

« We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out...

« We stayed over the 4th of July weekend. We had our dog with us who is petrified of fireworks. There were still a few "booms" in the neighborhood, but not nearly as many or as close as if we had we stayed home. The condo was cozy and quiet with plenty of space for 2 adults and a dog. When we got there, it was very hot inside but once the air conditioners had time to do their jobs, it became very comfortable. We all enjoyed both the front and back decks for the view and the breeze. »
