The open, expansive view of the river was exactly what I needed as a break. Some great decisions were made about furnishings, like the table in the sunroom and the one on the deck. The double glass windows do a lot to muffle the train noise. We've stayed along these tracks before and this was definitely the quietest. Everything was clean and in excellent working order EXCEPT the bathtub/shower drain. It really breaks up the ambiance to have to stand in 3-4 inches of soapy, scrummy water while showering. The bath mat was getting slippery and there is nothing to hold on to. Trying to rinse my feet and ankles off was a trick. I believe an earlier review complained about this drain. If it's been cleared since, perhaps it needs maintenance after each stay.Might as well have the shower experience live up to the rest of the nice stay! ##### Gerri B. Nice quiet neighborhood. The train that goes by does go by about every 20 to 30 minutes but they do not blow the whistle as they are going by. A store nearby had the essentials with many restaurants within walking distance.Travel time to Minneapolis was about an hour along beautiful winding roads.
