« Mon épouse et moi, couple dans la soixantaine, avions choisi le Penrose sur internet, basé sur les photos et la description des lieux. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés devant l'établissement nous étions déjà très heureux de notre choix, le décor était splendide, l'accueuil et la visite des lieux communs incluant notre chambre étaient vraiment conforme à nos attentes. Nous avons passé qu'une nuit au Penrose, lit et chambre très confortable et petit déjeuner copieux, les hôtes ont été très charmants. ...

« Nice place for a small group and short stay. Clean, well organized, nice sized rooms. You can tell the place is a bit older, but in good shape. Beds and sitting area furniture not super comfortable, but acceptable. No full kitchen, only sink is in the bathroom. Easy to find, cute grounds, area a bit noisy due to freeway and trains. We liked the place. »

« It was very good until there was no AC. We called and called and no one answered. We tried to fix it and look up what to do but nothing was working. They have an emergency number to call and no one answered that either, why have it if you aren’t going to answer the phone. What is someone going to do if they can’t get into their room? Then the next day they finally called back around 3 almost 4 pm but we were busy out sight seeing and we called when we got back to the room and no one answered...
