Arenal was a beautiful paradise nestled in the jungle-mountains of Costa Rica. I could have spent much more time here, but sadly only had a day. There are TONS of outdoor activities, shop around until you find the right one for you!

Staff was great and the rooms were very clean. Great amenities and beautiful grounds. The only thing was the rooms are not soundproof and at times it was a bit noisy but would stay here again.

The main street in town is a mixture of local Tico stores, coffee shops, and supermarkets (3). There is a good Pharmacy (owner speaks English), several Real Estate offices (I can peronally recommend both LAREC and MORAN).
