"The bed was comfortable, however the bare floor was dirty, there was mold in the caulking around the tub and tub was dirty. Towels were at least clean. We purchased lysol spray cleaner, and cleaned the floors ourselves. My husband had a medical procedure done and we needed to stay one more night, after having already stayed 3 nights and they would allow us to stay 1 more night. We were able to go through Expedia and book a Comfort Inn at a different location for one night, it's much nicer and clean. We would not recommend Comfort Inn at Montecello VA, but Comfort Inn in Charlottesville definitely. Thanks"

"We did not use the hot tub. The weather was wet and chilly. Also the hot tub was several steps from our unit. The cottage was charming; however, it was lacking attention. There was dust in several areas, the silverware in the drawer was dirty, and there were numerous stink bugs (dead and alive) throughout the unit. The cottage was sufficiently appointed, and we appreciated the location and nature that this cottage provides. "

"I really wish you could post pictures so you can actually see what the property conditions really is. The Shed that you are renting doesn’t have correctly working fixtures in bathtub. Doesn’t have correctly working lights but it does have a shower fixture on kitchen wall to put out a kitchen fire directly over your electrical appliances. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t approved by fire marshal. Has a few creature comforts and many creatures to crawl in your luggage also. Listing is a farcry from what you are going to expect when you arrive and definitely not what you see in the VBRO pictures. And the missing drywall and fluffy insulation that’s hanging out of the wall upstairs will make you all warm and fuzzy all nite or maybe that’s just the complimentary infestation. But don’t be alarmed the host does offer a complimentary bag of Decon if you have any issues durning your stay. "

From the very beginning, the host was incredibly responsive, answering every question quickly and thoughtfully, which made the entire experience feel easy and stress-free.The property itself was beautiful—well-maintained, comfortable, and perfect for our family during such a special time. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, which made a meaningful difference during such an important occasion.We’ll always treasure our stay here and the memories we made.
