The self check in was easy. Our Ferry came in quite later than scheduled so it was a quick stay over before leaving the next day. Too short of a stay to find anything wrong but much nicer and spacious than a regular motel. Very clean. 5 minutes off the Ferry. The spa was nice and so was the balcony in our unit. It was nice to have a grocery store and gas station so close they could easily be located just by looking out the window and not involve following any directions.

Tracee was a perfect host. She greeted us when we came. She even gave me a bottle of prosecco for my birthday. How cute is that! The room was very clean and warm. Thank you Tracee.

We enjoyed this property so much when we first arrived in Picton from the North Island we made a point to return again while waiting for the return ferry.
Great property with a special view of the Bay.

I had a very nice stay at The Boathouse Lodge. The place was clean and my room was comfortable. There was a lot of parking available. I didn't meet the hosts, but they left a very detailed note about where my room was and about the continental breakfast of cereal and bread that I could help myself to in the kitchen. There were 2 fridges that you could put your food into and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. This location was close to the ferry, which was very...

Great basic hotel. Room had all the plates and cutlery we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Perfect as a stop to wait for the ferry. Oh and Lily the Cat was very sweet and friendly.

After our first day walking the Queen Charlotte Track, the place was an oasis! The room was lovely, the shower perfect and dinner was delicious. They provided a bag lunch on request for our next day. They work well with the cougar line and our bags were in our room when we arrived. It is a lovely resort in a picturesque setting.

everything was perfect; however I wish it were possible to watch tv in bed. I understand why the room is set up the way it is, but putting the tv on a swing arm would make it even better.
