You can expect the same size room and conditions as all Ibis hotels. Very clean and comfortable with excellent staff. What sets this one apart is its location..on a canal and the old town right next door. If you are driving, discounted parking is available in the public garage beside the hotel and an elevator will take you up to a public square about 25 steps from the hotel door. Be sure to ask for a room overlooking the canal and with a balcony.

We stayed there for one night and arrived late so the parking was full but we got a coupon for a free overnight parking in the closest underground one. The staff was very helpful and let us know what were the best spots of the city to eat, view the landscape and relax.

It is well-located on the opposite side of the lake from the old town, which is a 25 minute walk away (there are many busses; we didn’t take them). There is a bakery and a grocery (open until 7) at the end of the block, plus a couple of pizza places and more. It was a good place to stay.
