"Our room was clean and comfortable. The entire hotel was clean and comfortable as was a large outdoor terrace. On the negative side: The door lock was a dead bolt key lock that was slightly inconvenient. We could catch the smell of cigarette smoke from outside our open windows on the 2nd floor. I don't think there is an elevator. I don't think there are parking spots for every room."

"The Markus - Wow! Merci pour un merveilleux séjour!! My husband and I stayed her for a night and arrived early morning. Every single person we interacted with was so lovely. The coffee shop is so convenient and the patio is lovely - petit déjeuner was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and thebstag was extremely helpful in giving us recommendations and showing us where to go. The hotel is very conveniently located close enough to walk from the Gare and close to lots of restaurants, shops, the tram and the blue line to walk the sights! We absolutely loved Angers and the Markus and will be back for sure!!"

"A very enjoyable 4 days stay particularly as I was able to acquire a portable A/C unit from the very helpful reception staff - I arrived in 38C!! Located within walking distance of everything in beautiful Angers but very quiet as it’s in the University zone. There’s a supermarket minutes away as are lovely walks along the river to the château. The room itself was pristine and comfortable. Ticked all my boxes and hope to return again next year."

"Great room and had A/C given the heat was amazing. Given a bottle on arrival that can be used for the machine in the hallway offering Britt filtered water cold or warm as well as sparkling water. Wide selection of drinks offered as well as food had no need to leave to go elsewhere. Staff were friendly and informative."
