« The hosts were very nice, available and giving good advice. Breakfast has many options: english, veggie, kipper,etc. Timetable for the buses is available at the hotel and the bus stop is 30 m away. The room is lovely, nicely decorated and large enough. Bathroom was clean and convenient. Wifi is free but works better in the staircase than in the room itself. « I would definitely recommend a stay at Brantfell House. The English breakfast was lovely. Our bed was VERY comfortable! Adie is full of knowledge and enthusiasm about the area, and is happy to provide recommendations when asked. We felt really welcome here. There is not much parking, so Adie goes out of his way to help out! »

« The staff here are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. Check in was smooth, lovely big room with hot tub, gorgeous breakfast, comfy bed to name but a few positives. The only slight negative and I emphasis slight - room 2 ground floor can get quite noisy outside due to customers coming and going for breakfast. However this would not put me off and would definitely return. Parking limited. »

« Gorgeous Hotel centrally located in the village of Hawkshead, room had all the facilities, key pad entry so no keys to carry Bottles of water by the bedside and even my favourite Costa Coffee pods for the coffee maker Beautiful restaurant/cafe downstairs.
