« What a great "stay" enough room for 2 people or 2 couples and our dogs. The back yard is fenced in. It is freshly remodeled. High ceilings with the most beautiful pine wood. A very modern up to date look. On a dead end road with a few older smaller homes and right next to the Trinidad University. Absolutely quiet area. Also, right next to I-25 and a few minutes from downtown shopping and eating. I loved the complementary doggy bowls under the kitchen island welcoming our pets. »

« This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon, with the sun and the Cuchara River is very relaxing. It is a great choice! »

« We had such a nice time staying at this cabin. There are a couple well maintained hiking trails around the property. The scenery while hiking the trails, and the view of the Spanish peaks from the cabin were beautiful! It's obvious that a lot of love has gone into the upkeep of this property. We couldn't recommend it more! »

« We spent our time at Cuchara Park and this home was the perfect location for us. The Host goes above and beyond here. I highly recommend this place - I will still hear next time we come through La Veta. The house has everything you need! Perfect for a man like me who loves chopping wood and having fires. The inside had a big kitchen for the wives. The rooms have tons of board games for the kids. You will love this place; I know we did. »

Jessica, the host, communicated well with check-in instructions. The quaint and cute unit was very clean and well-supplied. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. « This makes the third time we have stayed here since last August…and we already have a month long stay booked for this Fall. We’ve fallen in love with this property and it never disappoints. The scenery is beautiful, the cabin is fantastic, and Ray (the owner) is incredibly responsive and helpful. Definitely our favorite place to stay and well worth the trip from Texas! »

Petit déjeuner excellent avec la partie chaude servie par du personnel et un buffet à côté pour le reste. Le seul bémol. Notre voisin de chambre qui s'est mis à discuté à 4h30 du matin et qu'on entendait vraiment énormément . Je ne sais pas si cela est dû à un problème d'insonorisation vu que l'hôtel est assez ancien. Sinon j'ai vraiment aimé mon séjour. »
