« Charming motel and nice grounds. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Food truck had very tasty options. It was nice to grab our supper from the truck along with a couple beers from the bar and hang out on the deck. We will stay here again when back in the area. »

« The linens seemed clean and the room and been dusted. I expect the carpet was vacuumed, but it had several large stains in it. The curtain rod was about to fall from the wall on the right-hand side. The towel rack from the shower door was broken off. I found it in the room, and was able to put it back on the shower door. « It’s a very old property that has been renovated. It’s ok. It’s clean. Nice furniture and bedding but really basic overall. No thrills, just a good night sleep. It was showing 9 out 10 on Expedia before I booked and I don’t know what world this place would be 9 out of 10. It’s a cute old property well maintained, but it is a basic stay, nothing great about it. I would say more like 7 out of 10. Did sleep well though. :) »

« This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! « This hotel is nice and in a beautiful location. It is close to Main Street Blowing Rock with its many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed for renovations which we did not know when we booked. That was a disappointment. If you like to travel with your dog, this is the place for you. »
