I regularly stay at Emaar properties around the world, and this one was just as impressive. However, the room service food was very disappointing. We ordered room service twice, and both times the food was undercooked. Despite this, the front desk refused to waive the charges, and the hotel manager didn’t offer any resolution. Instead, he claimed the plates were empty when returned, which was simply not true. This was such an unnecessary issue that could have been handled much more professionally—especially by a brand of this caliber. We arrived and waited as they decorated our room with flowers. We didn't get the ocean view we reserved but the we did get a lovely room with a bathtub. We spent the afternoon poolside then dressed for dinner. We were hoping for some fresh fish but they didn't seem to have any on the menu. The buffet was surprisingly good and the servers were wonderfully attentive. We were able to take a few bites back to the room and the brought us a cake to celebrate our anniversary. This hotel was such a lovely break from Cairo and we plan to return for our second annual anniversary at the end of the summer."
