"The property was beautiful, well maintained and clean. The rooms were starting to show age but it is a hot humid place and the wear and tear is to be expected. Food was fantastic, we did eat only at the restaurants (not fans of buffets) we were a large group (8 ppl) and had no problem being accommodated at the restaurants. Beach was well maintained and clean. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return"

"Rafael did a great job as our butler each day arranging out dinner reservations and activities. His English is excellent. My toddler had a medical emergency & Rafael got us in minutes to the on-site doctor. Transfer to a nearby private hospital is also possible. The family upgrade at Bávaro is worth it. We traveled with a 2 & 11 year old & it was the best part of vacation. There is childcare staff & play areas in a special access restaurant & family lobby that has games & snacks/drinks 24/7. The family upgrade pool is the best with great service for the adults, perfect location, & best pool design. Best towels & loungers. The kid’s programs are so fun. We loved movie night with kiddie tents, special food, rideables. There was a night dance party with mascots. A pool party with mini paddle boats. Great directors & events with the family package day & night. The musical entertainment each night at Bávaro was top notch. AMAZING musicians. Everything is kid & adult friendly. The service staff is plentiful, kind, & helpful. The drink staff in the lobby & family pool are especially wonderful. Our cleaning lady Julissa in the family complex was the best, super thorough & helpful. Our favorite place to eat was La Uva, hidden on a raised deck in the treetops over the beach with alfresco grilled meats. We also loved the pizza custom baked in minutes by the pools, the gelato shop, & all-hours coffee shop with great coffee & desserts. Beach was beautiful in early June!"
