it is far to walk from the train their distance they say is not accurate its also allot of up hill. my understanding is can take the tram i think number 9 goes right to hotel they should of mentioned instead of misrepresent the distance and time to get to hotel

The hotel was conveniently located near a tram station, just a 2 min walk (which takes you the central areas). The hotel had a fridge in the room, no a/c but luckily we came when it was cool outside at night (September), they do provide a fan. They had lifts/elevators. The room was cleaned everyday and there was plenty of space to put our bags. It was nice that they had a stocked fridge and offered a few complimentary drinks. Breakfast is not included but can be added for a few. There is a small grocery store (coop) right next door that sells the basics and a few liquor and wine options. There is also a bakery and a few restaurants nearby. Lastly, there is a dominoes just a 3 min tram ride or 15 min walk.

Absolutely unpleasant front staff at the lobby ..impolite and disrespectful .Breakfast to be found yourself..not even a single person to attend ..

Room was extremely stuffy with no air circulation or air conditioning. Opening a window did not help, but it did let the loud noise in from outside. Zero soundproofing between rooms. Bed felt like a slab of concrete. No flat sheet on bed. Needed something lighter than a down comforter given the hot weather. Due to a combination of above, getting any sleep was extremely challenging! Lobby was dirty.

Hotel has no WiFi and no plans to improve Tech
Nemec was incredibly friendly and helpful manning the concierge desk. However, the WiFI connection was so bad that one can't even check emails, check Zurich city recommendations, or download Zurich online maps. Don't advertise that your hotel has strong WiFi for international visitors when WiFi at hotel home base is basically non-existent. It's an important criteria many international visitors rely on for travel planning. Ruined our Zurich experience.

Great price. Up hill from train station but there is a funicular. Totally adequate and clean. Great Italian restaurant, Al Forno, a few blocks away.

Loved the view and the church bells! Didn’t care for how cold the rooms got at night. No thermostat in the room so you definitely need heavy pjs

Great location, not the most comfortable room
The hotel is in an excellent location. The room was extremely small. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were completely flat, and blanket was too small for the bed.
