"Beautiful appartement with amazing view on the Matterhorn. We were a family of 8 staying in the 4 bedrooms penthouse. We loved our stay there and the wellness spa area was a lovely way to recover after a day of hiking. The only comment we have is about the kitchen supplies. If you want to cook a meal for 8 persons, there is very limited kitchen supplies. No scissors, no cutting board, no cheese grater, only 2 small cooking pans. We made a cheese fondue and there were only 6 cheese fondue forks....

"Property is not accessible through road as it is on the hill and no road is leading to there. You have to take the Gornergrat train for one station to reach the property. Ticket cost is CHF17 one way which is quite costly. Flat 16 does not have any view to Matterhorn so avoid booking this one to avoid disappointment. Flat is clean and properly manager is very helpful. "

"Super smooth check in process. Loved the views ans silence at Overlook Lodge compared to a regular room at Cervo. Staff was extremely attentive and were accessible at all times. I was jumping out of my bed every morning at sunrise to enjoy the views! At a little extra cost you can also enjoy breakfast and spa at Cervo. Hotel has direct connection to the lifts! I would recommend it to everyone and stay here again!"

"House Venus 2 was comfortable for our family of 8. Beds were cozy, kitchen was functional to make meals, and the location was perfect to walk around and explore Zermatt. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station with luggage. We enjoyed eating and playing games around the dining table and relaxing on the balcony with views of the Matterhorn! "

"This property was immaculate. It is situated in a very quiet part of town. There were plenty of new dishes and new induction cookware. The living space was oddly configured, in that the huge kitchen table is in the center of the only common area. One bedroom was in a sort of separate apartment with its own lock. The whole arrangement was highly functional. The space shown on the internet is for the upper floor. We had a wonderful time in Zermatt."

"Great property and fairly convenient location. About 10-15 minute walk to Sunnegga lift and about 5 minutes to the bus. Ski locker and boot room adjacent to entrance makes gearing up very straightforward. Property manager very professional and responsive. Only downside was a door lock that didn’t work. Was told that with Easter locksmith not available. Hopefully will be fixed for the next guest. Relatively quiet at night which is better for getting a good night sleep and still just a short...

"Phenomenal living space in a phenomenal location and phenomenally we'll run by Frau Bauer. We were lucky enough to get this apartment when the previous renter unexpectedly had to cancel. Four large bedrooms, four modern and well equipped bathrooms, in floor heating, a great kitchen, a magnificent dining area with ample seating for 8 to 12 people two terraces, an incredible view of the Matterhorn, and a private elevator to both floors of this unit make this one of the best spaces my family has...

"Wonderful 200 years old building in prime Zermatt location—close to town square, downtown, and chairlifts—yet quiet at night. Good balcony with gorgeous view of the Matterhorn. Good layout with good living space and kitchen. Onsite owner was a charm. However... Low ceilings and doorways. Each of us cracked our heads pretty hard at least once with several more less serious encounters. We’re 5’11” and 5’7”—if you’re tall be forewarned. Hot water can be dangerously scalding hot, so be careful....

"Overall, the place fit our needs. Communication leading up to our stay wasn’t the best. I imagine this is because I tried to communicate through the VRBO app and using WhatsApp would have worked better. The worst part about this home was the 75 stairs leading up to the door. This was mentioned on the listing so it didn’t come as a surprise but it did get old quickly. It was a little difficult to find the door number since it was faded but we eventually called and found it."
