It was better than the pictures. It was so clean, quiet and peaceful. My husband and I had such a wonderful time hiking at Joshua Tree NP and then returning to relax at the outdoor fireplace and soothing hot tub. Definitely need a car that can withstand some rough off tossing in order to get to the house and in and out of the driveway. We were initially drawn to the views and the secluded nature of the property, and we were not let down! Views were incredible - the shadows falling over the mountains across the valley made for an incredible backdrop for dinner each night - and we felt like we were the only people around. It really made for an amazing vacation.The property was as advertised and stocked with everything we needed to cook some meals each day. Emily was a terrific host, promptly answering any questions we had. I would highly recommend Rocky Roost, and would not hesitate to return sometime. ##### Adam D. Secluded but, accessable to a grocery store/"stuff" in under 10 minutes. Beyond amazing views. We off-roaded in Joshua Tree a very short and beautiful drive from here.
