We were very pleasantly surprised by the large rooms (and huge closet!). The large kitchen was easy to cook in and the large bedrooms let us spread out after a long day at the park. Everything was clean and as advertised, and we especially enjoyed the pool table and table tennis games in the garage. The bed was extremely comfortable and welcoming after all the hiking. We wanted to surprise my Mom for Mother's Day and she was! It was so nice to be able to walk to and from their house, visit with family all while having our own time in the rental away from the chaos of family lol. Every night we'd sit out back and just stare at the sky. The stars are the #1 thing I miss about Yucca Valley. The house itself was very clean, beautiful and had tons of amenities. It was a short drive to the park and a pleasure to come back to you every night after a full day of hiking. The hot tub worked great, the beds were very comfortable and the game room was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed being close to Joshua Tree and restaurants/groceries. Hot tub was very relaxing after a long day of hiking. House was in great shape and even had little touches like extra remote batteries that so many other locations don't.
