« I have stayed in various properties on the Lake over the last few years. This was BY FAR the best one. Everything in the description is accurate or better. Impeccably clean, every you need, nice linens, plenty of towels, equipped kitchen, beautiful fenced back yard with fire pit. « Great location with a very nice remodel of an old home. Kitchen and bedrooms are very nice. Back yard is a great outdoor gathering place, even though it was too cold for that during our stay. People with mobility issues should be aware there are some step downs, as this is one of the older original houses (I used to walk by this house in the early '60's, and it wasn't a new house then.). The host was quick to respond to my questions. We had a great stay and I would stay here again! »

« The location of this house is stunning. It's on a peninsula that sticks out in to Clear Lake, and then it itself is on its own little rocky promontory that sticks out from the peninsula. The house is about 50 feet up from the lake. The upshot of this is that you get an amazing view of the lake from sunrise to sunset, and due to it sticking out to the lake a bit, a lot of the local birds use the updraft it creates. « Very nice property. From the instructions, it seems as if the renters had bad experiences in the past, which is really sad. The rental was very clean, location spectacular, truly million dollar views. We had a wonderful time. We hope that future renters can respect their property as their own so that the warnings don't have to seem so restrictive and negative. This is a lovely place and should be treated as such. »

« Overall wonderful. Great location with some traffic noise from the freeway across the yard. Some foot traffic noise above us upstairs. Maybe slippers are in order to reduce the noise. Both times we stayed here the bathroom tub has a very slow drain. This time, the towels were rough, just in from hanging outdoors. Soft and cushy is best.
