"Such a beautiful place to stay in Crescent City California. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodated all of our needs. The kids loved swimming in the indoor heated pool and taking a walk on the beach. The sunset from the room was amazing. I was worried about the reviews I read on hotels.com but we had a really good experience. There was 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children. The room was just right and we felt very comfortable. My son is special needs and we worried about safety with the balcony, but the door had a screw at the bottom that secures the slider. The only thing we couldn’t get to work was the jets in our tub but other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you Oceanfront Lodge. Hope to see you all soon! "

"Didn't like that the staff was thru a kiosk and not in person. Not a great view of the beach, but good view of some homeless people set up in the parking lot between the beach and hotel. Room looked like it was having repairs done."
