« The house had everything that we needed for five guys on a golf trip. House was clean and had all the essentials. The hot tub and pool table were nice features. The only thing I would say is a slight negative was the kitchen just a little on the small side compared to others we’ve rented in the area. Also, if you will be using the basement bedrooms, the floors on the first floor are squeaky all around the house. So a little distracting for the guys in the basement rooms. « Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....
