"The staff here were very nice, from check in to check out. Our room was a nice size with 2 queen beds and a couch. It wasn’t the most well maintained, as the curtains were falling off the ceiling and some of the lightbulbs were burnt out and needing replacement. But overall the room was clean and decently comfortable! Breakfast was a basic, hotel style breakfast. What you should expect from a chain hotel. Overall, for the price we paid compared to other hotels in the area, our stay was a 7.5/10."

"Clean property had lots of food places around. Sadly the AC unit had issues and was very difficult to sleep. . Management knew apologized and tried to rectify the problem sadly it continued and no solution. If AC was working as intended would have given 5 stars. Bang for buck it was okay. "Dear Hilton Management, I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay, which unfortunately fell far below my expectations of the Hilton brand. Upon arrival around 5:00 PM, the front desk experience was unwelcoming. While check-in was efficient, the employee appeared disengaged, offered no smile or greeting, and only became friendly after I asked if she was having a bad day. Our room (206) had a persistent sewage-like odor from arrival to departure, making the stay uncomfortable. We were also located beside the elevator and ice machine, and despite adjusting the air conditioning, the room remained uncomfortably warm. The coffee maker was difficult to use because the power cord was extremely short, leaving the bathroom as the only practical place to plug it in. Given the odor issues, this was far from ideal. Most concerning was the presence of insects in the room, whether large ants or roaches, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. My travel companion and I are not guests who typically complain, but the combination of poor customer service, the room odor, temperature issues, and insects made this a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, it has caused me to reconsider staying at a Hilton property in the future."

"Our stay at Harbor Shores on Lake Geneva was very enjoyable overall. The hotel's location is outstanding, the property is well maintained, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and welcoming. The only disappointment during our stay involved the attached dining options. On Friday evening, we decided to try Emmi's Lake Geneva. We were greeted by a lovely hostess, but the dining room felt surprisingly sparse and uninviting. Several loud patrons at the bar dominated the atmosphere, making it uncomfortable for what we had hoped would be a relaxing lakeside dinner. We chose to leave before ordering, so I cannot comment on the food itself. The next morning, we visited Gotham Bagels and Eats for breakfast. Despite having plenty of staff on duty, service was surprisingly slow for a counter-service operation. The food was fine, but the wait time and overall efficiency did not meet expectations. That said, Harbor Shores itself was excellent. The accommodations, location, and staff made for a pleasant stay, and I would recommend the hotel. Improving the dining experience at Emmi's and Gotham Bagels would bring the restaurants up to the same standard as the hotel."

"The room seemed clean, there was just a an odd smoky smell that permeated the room...or.maybe pet odor? It appeared people could bring pets which is a negative for us due to my allergies. I should have called to ask. Otherwise the gal at the front desk was courteous and efficient. I thought the bed was relatively comfortable."

"There was no restaurant for dinner. There was no lobby coffee on the weekend. The shower leaked, and was not repaired on the weekend. The motel did not appear to be a successful business since all the salons were unused. I only needed 4 nights of sleep, and it was fine for that."
