I got to enjoy my own piece of the beautiful Lewis river where I much enjoyed fishing and relaxing after work. David was extremely welcoming, generous and his hospitality unmatched! I stay at many rentals as I travel for work and David is without question the best host I have ever had the privilege of meeting and renting from. There are day trip opportunities near by the Mt St. Helens Visitor center, small town Kalama and McMenimans w/rec area. Even an in town Woodland Thai restaurant was good ( Mai Thai). The room was spacious with everything you need with a retro feel. The bed was so comfortable, especially with the soft blanket, need to find that one. The soaker tub was enjoyable. We will return, especially when the weather gets warmer, so we can sit on the deck and have our coffee watching the gorgeous view. ##### Cara S.
