"A wonderful unexpected find along our trip north on rt 1. A few miles off the main rd, paved, unpaved,paved. The owner was very pleasant and made us feel welcomed. There are 3 suites in the main lodge. Ours had a private bath down the hall. The kitchen was huge and is shared by all visitors. Bring your own food and drinks. The closest food is Eastport, Calais or Lubec. Take time to enjoy a canoe or kayak trip on the local lake, few min drive through yhe woods. The lodge was clean and well maintained and the bed was so comfortable. "

"Our recent "upta camp" stay on this secluded lake was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, the sense of peace was palpable. Within the first ten minutes, we were greeted by the majestic sight of a bald eagle - a truly unforgettable welcome!Our days were filled with nothing but glorious rest and relaxation. We spent hours simply watching the world go by from the private lakeside retreat. The wildlife viewing was incredible: in addition to the eagle, we spotted hawks and a delightful array of other birds, a hare, not to mention fish jumping, turtles swimming, and frogs serenading us from the water's edge. No distractions, no schedules – just the gentle rhythm of nature. We left feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. Thank you so much!"

"The cabin on the water was awesome. The owner has updated the space, everything is new and so very clean. The kitchen, living room, bathrooms and bedrooms were very nice. The cabin is without question one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The views, just outstanding. We enjoyed the quiet and taking day trips to the surrounding areas. Down east Maine is just a wonderful area to explore and want to relax. In ending, we want to thank Sonja for taking care of everything and making our vacation very special.
