Log Cabin On Quiet Wilderness Lake In Downeast Lakes Region Of Maine

Log Cabin On Quiet Wilderness Lake In Downeast Lakes Region Of Maine

10/10 Excellent
"We were honestly so pleasantly surprised by how nice and well-equipped this cabin was! We definitely brought way more with us than we needed because the cabin had just about everything — spices, dishes, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, and so much more. One of my favorite things was how peaceful and relaxing it was there. We also loved that we were able to bring our dogs with us, which made the trip even more special. The two docks were wonderful, and we especially enjoyed the one with the picnic table. It was such a beautiful place to sit, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!"

"The cottage is in a beautiful spot right on the pond. We had a great time watching the resident loon, osprey and eagle each day. The location is great--very quiet yet not that far from Lincoln Center for groceries and/or restaurants. Gwen and Andrew were really lovely and gracious hosts and were very accommodating. If you want a spot to chill, unwind and have peace and quiet, this would be a great place to check out. Highly recommended."

"This stunning home is beautifully designed to be the perfect getaway in the woods. It was even more beautiful than the pictures showed! The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were truly serene. Andy was the perfect host and an excellent communicator. The lake was clean and calm, perfect for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Inside, everything you could imagine or possibly need for an enjoyable stay was thoughtfully stocked. We love to cook, and the kitchen was a pleasure to work in, even with our party of nine. We’ve been traveling to this part of Maine for over forty years, and we’re blown away that something this nice exists in this remote part of Maine. We can’t wait to return!"

"TWO week stay - Senior Mom/Dad and 4 days - son/daughter and 3yo. We also travel with a chi-pomWOW! Outstanding VRBO in Lincoln, Maine. Three wonderfully appointed bedrooms, King Bed (own full bathroom), A queen bedroom (with a Smart TV) and Queen bed with bunkbeds (my granddaughter made forts) also with its own Smart TV. The house was wicked clean, and it felt like everything was brand new. The kitchen will have everything you need for a wonderful stay. LOVED the water/ice machine on the Fridge door - came in handy! Plenty of things in the house to get you 'started', TP, basic condiments, etc. It gave us a day to regroup from a drive, then go into town the next day and get anything else we needed. The bathrooms were wonderfully appointed, with tons of towels and the basic things one might forget (ie sunscreen - came in handy!). Washer/Dryer? Yep!TONS OF GAMES, everything from Chess to Parcheesi - you will not be bored. There is a HUGE smart TV in the living room/kitchen area (it is one big room with a dining area too). I cannot express how wonderful the stay was. We were gobsmacked with the woodpile and fire pit. Spent 90% at the pit. There were several kayaks, lifejackets etc. There were so many blowup floaties, I lost count (tubes, etc). The griddle/grill was awesome on the deck and we grilled quite a bit. I would give this VRBO 10 Stars if I could."
