"Room was clean and well updated. Malcolm was a great help to us. We were there on a Saturday, so parked on the street for free. There is some parking available.
Loved the location and the dual fans in our family room!
We would stay here again!"

"I arrived later on in the evening so reception was closed.
Contact number was provided on the door, which I called and was quickly guided to the location of my key to gain entry.
Room was really homely and clean.
Hotel has a car park onsite.
I didn’t eat or drink at the hotel but they do have a bar."

"The ground floor room was comfortable and adequate for our two night stay. There was some traffic noise from the busy main road, but it wasn’t too much of an issue. The hotel is situated close to the bus stop where there are frequent buses into the city centre."

"I enjoy a hotel that makes you feel like the location… not some generic place that looks the same in every location. The Porterhouse was great in that regard, made me feel like I was in Oxford. Clean and comfy room and great location. Staff was great and helpful in every way! Breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay again!"

"Just got back from a 2 night stay. Absolutely charming place to stay staff were so friendly and helpful. So close to the Center just a brief stroll down the lane would definitely come back to stay again. The dog loved it too"

"We had booked three rooms out for ourselves and other family members. The property is in a brilliant location. There is no onsite service parking but free parking outside the front of the property. The entry instructions given were clear. All of the rooms had everything that you need in there. They are not very big rooms but big enough if only used to sleep in which is what we used it for. There was a well stocked welcome basket in each room which was a lovely touch which contained sweets,...

"Everywhere was spotless, the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was everything you could ask for at breakfast time and help was always on hand ."
"We enjoyed our 2 nights staying at The Holt. The Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a very nice shower.
The staff were very helpful, especially in the restaurant with my dairy intolerance. My meal of Jerk Spiced Pork Rib Eye was delicious.
There was plenty of parking and the hotel is ideally situated to explore Blenheim Palace."
"Stayed at the Store for a long weekend in a standard room. The hotel is beautifully decorated and well located in the centre of Oxford. We took advantage of the gym and complementary sauna session due to the wet weather. Facilities are small but very well maintained.
The breakfast is from a standard menu, including fried breakfasts/pancakes. I have some allergies and they were happy to adjust to accommodate. However, the allergen labelling and options could have been better, as they just removed items from the choices and the continental options were not clearly labelled.
Overall a lovely visit, would come back when it is sunnier to make the most of the roof terrace."
"Location great. Uber options helpful along with other transport options including buses and walking by pavement or by the river path (watch out for bikes). Staff super helpful including Izabela and Ayesha. Breakfast good, staff friendly. Bar staff helpful too. Spa facilities good. Parking worked, electric charging available, chargers low charging rate. Thank you for looking after us."
"Upon arrival, a friendly receptionist greeted us and checked us in with no hassle. The hotel is very much a place to sleep and shower. We booked a double room, which is quite small and fits the bed with just enough space to walk around it. Storage is minimal, with under-bed storage large enough for two backpacks, and there is no wardrobe.
The bathroom was clean, the AC was sufficient, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel if you simply need a quick overnight stay, as it offers good value for money."
"An excellent sized room with a comfortable bed and a clean modern bathroom. Staff were friendly and efficient with a good knowledge of the workings of the hotel. Parking is plentiful and right in front of the hotel doors. Conveniently situated just off the M40 but I had a quiet restful night."
