wonderful country pub rooms are clean and welcoming. Staff were also welcoming parking facilities no issues the bar was a beautiful old world bar.

New management is doing a great job. ... Very friendly and attentive staff. Convenient bus into & out of Oxford. Ensham is a nice Oxfordshire village with a few pleasant walks.

Wow, what a place! Only stayed 1 night while walking the Thames path, and sooo glad I found the Talbot Inn! Every member of staff were lovely, the room was perfect, seemed brand new but just kept extremely clean like the rest of the buildings. The food is outstanding, to the point I will be going back just to eat! Seriously, do not go anywhere else to eat if you’re staying here, you find better!!! Thanks for a great stay and super relaxing evening!

The staff, especially Lucy, were really lovely & nothing was too much trouble. The room was well decorated, bathroom great, all so clean, very comfy & with tea & coffee making facilities, a fan & a hairdryer...we had everything we needed, but they provided irons & boards if needed too. Food was amazing, shame we didn't eat more there, the breakfast was great & a good selection for a small place. Would definitely stay again & recommend to anyone as a great ligation, near Witney, Oxford & Burford for many days out.

A Cotswolds Gem

Stewart and his excellent team provide the perfect base for a visit to the Cotswolds. Beautifully appointed rooms and Michelin standard dining backed up by exceptional levels of customer service. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing experience, Ellie in charge of Front of House has an amazingly accomplished approach, in fact for 17 year old she's outstanding. The place itself is brilliant, great food, comfortable well appointed room with amazing decor, will definitely stay here again.
