"This Rosen is on the low end of the Orlando Rosen franchise, but it’s a decent stay at a decent price. Rooms were clean. One smelled nice and fresh, the other was musty.
Beds are doubles so not much space for sleeping, but they are nice quality and comfortable. Roll away beds are available, it’s basically a mat on a metal spring, but a kid can get by with it.
Refrigerators were extremely disappointing as there was no temp control. They seemed like just drink chillers so I kept my food in the cooler and kept refilling the ice, which was not the plan I had in mind for a room that came with fridge.
We got ground level rooms and there was a nice little fountain courtyard, however people did walk by at all hours of the night and could be heard from outside. We didn’t hear between our two rooms, but we could hear from outside.
I appreciated the review that noted the vacation sales team. They tell you it’s a “welcome package” with “discounts to local restaurants” and other specials. I told them the truth, we were only in town for a sports meet and had no time for vacation extras. They didn’t bother us and we got the kids to bed without waiting for a sales pitch.
All in all not my favorite Rosen location. But got the job done for what we needed, which was sleep and a decent price. "
