If you’re looking for the cutest true English village this is it!!! Very remote, but fantastic, had a wonderful dinner, and cocktails. The staff, were wonderful, from the young bartender, waiter at dinner, but the women that served breakfast was just the kindness and interesting, l could chat with her for hours. Book this place! This is a beautiful old historic building. Staff are very courteous and prompt. The grounds around the inn are spectacular. I was a bit surprised there was no AC but fortunately it was not a warm night so we were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay

Great hotel in a great area! We enjoyed our stay very much! Staff, food, drinks, all wonderful. The standard rooms are small, but that is clearly indicated when you book. No onsite parking, but its not far. Only a few minutes walk. We are still talking about our stay and hope to be back.
