"Very clean and well managed place with a very convenient location in the park. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back to the John Muir lodge. Only thing to prepare for is the food situation, really there is only one restaurant nearby and it’s okay but not something I would want to each at everyday of my stay."

"This is a great stop to overnight before going into Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. It’s a combination motel with restaurant and then a little grouping of shed type buildings with a community outdoor area, plus a larger creek side accommodation which is where we stayed. It’s very private and a lovely cabin. There was also access to do laundry."

"Ben & Regan were able to accommodate us last minute and were great at communicating from all the questions we’ve had to the whole smooth process of checking in and out. The cabin was clean and convenient for being in the center of the national park. I just wish we arrived and left when it was still daytime, but looking forward in staying again in the future!"

"We didn't get to spend a lot of time at the property. We arrived late our first night and spent the entire day in Sequoia the next day. Basically, we just slept there. We had the guest suite near the office. It was quiet and clean. It had a kitchenette to cook with. There is no nearby food options - so stop at a grocery store first. Our host was lovely, she shared some tips for being in the higher elevation and getting to/from the park. Would totally stay here again with the plan of enjoying the property more."

"This property is located in Wilsonia, which is a unique cluster of cabins inside of Kings Cabin. The location can't be beat. It's a five minute drive to the King's Canyon visitor center and very close to the General Grant Tree. It was so nice to stay inside the park and to be close to what we wanted to see. The property is very clean. It has certainly been well kept and freshly cleaned. The kitchen is well stocked. We had everything we needed to feel at home.Be aware that in this part of the park you have no cell service and there is no wifi. If you need to communicate with the outside world, you will need to drive to the visitor's center and use their free visitor's wifi. I appreciated that the property manager was very responsive to my questions."
