The house looks exactly like the pictures- clean, cozy, nicely decorated, and so many great amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, hammocks, patio area, grill, fireplace, pac-man machine, and the basketball hoop. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipt with everything you need and more. This is literally 15 minutes from the beach and the same for exploring the historic downtown area. Home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Large enough to have family with you but still cozy enough to feel like it was your own home. Host was very attentive to our questions or requests. Would stay here again if in the area. The girls loved the hot tub and hammocks. And even shot some hoops! The couch and chairs were very comfortable, and we loved the artistic touches throughout the house. The three bedrooms had comfortable beds, so we all slept well. The location is perfect for two reasons: it is on a quiet street in a nice residential neighborhood; and perfectly situated between the beach and the river. Therefore, our family went to Wilmington this year for Thanksgiving to spend it with her. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Palms. My mother, husband, son, daughter, grand dog, and I found everything about the house to be cozy and comfortable. There was plenty of space for us all to sit around and watch TV/movies, cook, play games, and sleep. The backyard was a favorite for us as well. Loved that it was fenced in and outlined with string lights with a lot of seating options. The neighborhood was perfect for dog walking. It was my husband and I and our 22 and 14 year old sons. The home was perfect for our needs. There were 3 bedrooms so we each had our own room. We used the common room to visit as a family with our older son and his girlfriend. It was cozy and had plenty of seating for watching football on Sunday. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and I appreciated the dryer to take care of the wet towels. We didn't do any cooking but it looked like they had everything you would need to make a meal.
